Hollywood diva Brandy Norwood gets Hindu Lord Ganesh tattooNevada (US), Dec 29: Brandy Norwood, one of the best-selling female artists in American music history, reportedly gets a new tattoo of Hindu deity Ganesh and is proud of it.
The reports suggest that California tattoo artist Peter Koskela inked elephant-headed Hindu Lord Ganesh on Image Award winner Norwood's (Moesha) left wrist.
According to her tweets, Norwood knew that it was the image of Ganesh, the "Remover of all obstacles" but mistook him for an "Egyptian god". On being pointed out by her Twitter followers, she quickly corrected her error and wrote: Ganesh is actually a Hindu deity,

A corner of Midtown Manhattan was awash in color and Bhangra music as hundreds of Hindus congregated for their yearly Holi celebration, on March 31. The Dag Hammarskjold Park, on West 47th Street, hosted the fourth New York celebration of Holi, the festival of colors for Hindus all around the world, in which people of all cultures splashed their faces and bodies with powder paint.
